Does Tot Perch fit my toilet?

Yes. There are two ways to use it — locked in under the toilet seat, or resting on top with the grip pads — and both hold. The two-second test: set it on the bowl and close the toilet seat over it. If the seat closes, it locks in. If it doesn't, it goes on top with the pads. Unusual toilets (built-in bidets, oversized seats) vary, and the Fit Guarantee covers you either way.

Will it stay in place?

Yes. Locked in, the toilet seat itself is the locking mechanism — just as stable on day 1,000 as day one. Resting on top? Grip pads are in the box — four on the underside stop it sliding, four spares for later.

How do I clean it?

What age range is Tot Perch designed for?

Tot Perch is designed for the years after training — the 2+ years between toilet trained and toilet independent. Most children start using it around 18 months to 2 years and continue until somewhere between age 5 and 7, when they confidently make the move to the standard toilet on their own. That's why we back it with a 3-year warranty — because we know exactly how long those years last.

What are the two ways to use it?

Locked in: set it on the bowl and close the toilet seat over it. The toilet seat holds it, the lid stays open, and they sit on the real toilet.

On top: rest it on the closed seat with the grip pads. Just as steady, and the same familiar seat at grandma's, at the gas station, anywhere. A few pad thicknesses are in the box so you can match your toilet.

Pro tip: Dry-fit first. Make a loop of regular tape, stick it to the back of a grip pad with the liner still on, and press the pad onto the underside. Set the seat on your toilet and see how it sits. Once you like the spot, peel the liner and press the pad on for good. Same for all four.
